What a deep clean costs, and why
A deep clean is priced as a single job. The figure depends mostly on how long the slow tasks will take, and the slow tasks are in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Where a deep clean's time goes
Dusting and vacuuming go quickly. The time sinks are hand work: degreasing a range hood, scrubbing grout, de-filming shower glass, wiping every baseboard and door frame, cleaning inside an oven. A house with two original-tile bathrooms and a busy kitchen can take far longer than a larger house with newer surfaces.
What raises or lowers the figure
| Raises it | Lowers it |
|---|---|
| Months since the last thorough clean | A recent regular cleaning schedule |
| Heavy grease in the kitchen, hard-water film in showers | Newer, smooth surfaces |
| Inside oven, fridge, cabinets and interior windows added | Only the core deep-clean list |
| Pets that shed, lots of items on surfaces | Clear counters and floors before the team arrives |
Deep clean, then regular visits
The most economical pattern for most households is one deep clean followed by visits every two weeks. The deep clean costs more once; the regular price afterwards stays low because the build-up never returns. See recurring cleaning for how that works.
Tax and the written price
The 6% Kentucky sales tax under KRS 139.200 applies to deep cleaning like any other residential cleaning. It appears as its own line on the price we send you.
Want a smaller first bill? Choose the core deep-clean list now and add the oven or fridge interiors on a later visit.
Price questions
Is a deep clean worth it before regular cleaning?
Usually. It removes the build-up so each regular visit can stay short and priced low.
Can I deep clean just the kitchen and bathrooms?
Yes. A partial deep clean of the rooms that need it most is a common request and is priced accordingly.
What is the 80/20 rule in cleaning?
The idea that a small share of the rooms, mainly the kitchen and bathrooms, take most of the effort. It is roughly true, which is why those rooms drive the price.
Does a bigger team make it cheaper?
No. A bigger team finishes sooner, but the total work, and so the price, stays about the same.
