House cleaning prices in Louisville

We do not publish one number for every house, because two homes with the same bedroom count can need very different amounts of work. Here is what actually sets the price.

The five things that move the price

FactorWhy it matters
SizeBedrooms, bathrooms and square footage set the base. Bathrooms count more than bedrooms because they take longer.
ConditionA house cleaned two weeks ago and one cleaned six months ago are different jobs. Build-up on grout, appliances and baseboards adds time.
FrequencyWeekly and every-two-weeks visits cost less per visit than monthly or one-time cleans, because less builds up between them.
Pets and peopleShedding dogs and cats, and busy households, mean more vacuuming and more floor work.
Add-onsInside the oven or fridge, interior windows, inside cabinets, laundry and bed changes are priced separately.

Flat price, not hourly

Our quotes are a flat price per visit. You know the figure before the team arrives, and a team that works quickly is not penalised while a slower one does not cost you more. If the house turns out to be very different from what was described, we call you before going further rather than adding to the bill afterwards.

Kentucky sales tax on cleaning

Since July 1, 2018, Kentucky has taxed residential and commercial cleaning services. KRS 139.200 lists janitorial services, including residential cleaning, among the services subject to the 6% sales tax. Every price we give shows the tax as its own line.

How to get the most accurate quote

  • Give the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the rough square footage if you know it
  • Say when the house was last properly cleaned
  • Mention pets, stairs, and any room you want skipped
  • List the add-ons you want so they are in the first figure

Price questions

Why not just list prices on the site?

Because a list based on bedrooms alone would be wrong for many homes. A short call or the form gives us enough to quote a firm number.

Is the first visit more expensive?

Often, yes. If the house has not been cleaned recently, the first visit takes longer. Regular visits after that cost less.

Do you charge for travel to Bullitt or Oldham County?

We tell you up front if a location affects the price. Most addresses in the three counties are quoted without a separate travel line.

Do I tip the cleaners?

Tipping is your choice and never expected as part of the price.

A cleaner home or workplace starts with one call

Tell us the rooms or the square footage and the day you want. We come back with a price, and the cleaning team arrives with its own supplies.
