What cleaning cannot fix
Holes in walls, burned counters, torn carpet and broken blinds are damage, not dirt. A clean house helps the walkthrough, but your lease and Kentucky landlord-tenant rules decide what happens with a deposit. Take dated photos of each room after the clean, and keep them.
Timing
Book the clean after the movers and before the walkthrough, ideally the day before, so nothing new is tracked in. Water and power need to be on. If you would rather hand the list over, book a move-out clean.
Short answers
Should I clean the walls?
Spot-clean marks and scuffs. Full wall washing is rarely expected; painting is not a cleaning task.
Do I need to clean the oven?
Yes. Ovens and fridges are among the first things landlords check.
